Service Agreement / Service Terms

Rayden’s Repairs – The Home Maintenance Co. provides professional home maintenance and repair services with a commitment to quality workmanship, clear communication, and dependable service. The following Service Terms outline the conditions under which our services are provided.

Estimates and Scope of Work

All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection, consultation, or discussion. If additional issues are discovered once work begins, the scope of work and pricing may need to be adjusted. Any significant changes will be communicated with the customer before additional work is performed whenever possible.

Estimates are valid for a limited time and may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations, project conditions, or changes in scope.

Rayden’s Repairs – The Home Maintenance Co. provides professional evaluations and estimates based on technician time, travel, and experience. If a customer elects not to proceed with the work after an estimate has been provided, a $75 estimate fee will apply. Estimates are waived only when Rayden’s Repairs is hired to perform the approved work.

By requesting an on-site estimate or service evaluation, the customer acknowledges that the estimate fee may apply if the work is not approved and completed by Rayden’s Repairs.

Scheduling and Access

Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability. Customers agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the service area at the scheduled time. If access cannot be provided or the appointment must be rescheduled with little notice, a service call or trip fee may apply.

Customer-Supplied Materials

If customers request that materials or products be supplied by them rather than by Rayden’s Repairs, we cannot guarantee the quality, compatibility, or performance of those materials. Any additional labor required due to defective, incompatible, or missing customer-supplied materials may result in additional charges.

Hidden Conditions

Some repairs may reveal hidden damage or underlying issues that were not visible during the initial estimate. Examples may include water damage, structural issues, electrical concerns, or plumbing complications behind walls or fixtures. If such conditions are discovered, work may pause until the situation is evaluated and a revised scope of work is agreed upon.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be provided in the estimate or invoice. Payment may be required upon completion of the service unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing. For larger projects, deposits or progress payments may be required.

Invoices not paid within the stated timeframe may be subject to late fees or collection actions as permitted by law.

Workmanship Commitment

Rayden’s Repairs – The Home Maintenance Co. takes pride in delivering reliable workmanship. If a concern arises related directly to the work performed by our company, customers must notify us within seven (7) days of service completion so the issue can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

This workmanship commitment applies only to labor performed by Rayden’s Repairs and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, environmental factors, manufacturer defects, pre-existing conditions, or failures related to materials or components outside of our control.

Safety and Worksite Conditions

Customers agree to maintain a safe work environment for technicians. This includes securing pets and removing personal affects and any obstructions from the work area prior to the scheduled service.

The worksite should be reasonably clear and accessible to allow technicians to perform work safely and efficiently. If unsafe conditions are present, the technician may postpone or reschedule the work until the environment is safe.

Limitations of Service

Rayden’s Repairs provides general home maintenance and repair services. Certain work may require specialized licensed contractors depending on local regulations, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, or structural modifications. When necessary, we may recommend or coordinate with licensed professionals.

Rayden’s Repairs may also utilize subcontractors when appropriate to complete specialized work within a project. When subcontractors are engaged directly by Rayden’s Repairs, we stand behind the labor performed by those subcontractors as part of the overall project.

However, if a customer or general contractor involved in a project elects to use subcontractors that are not selected or managed by Rayden’s Repairs, we are not responsible or liable for the quality, consistency, scheduling, insurance, service performance, or overall results of that work. Rayden’s Repairs is also not responsible for communication, coordination, or dispute resolution involving subcontractors that were not hired directly by our company.

Trip Charge / Diagnostic Fee Policy

Certain service visits may include a trip charge or diagnostic fee to cover technician travel time, on-site evaluation, and troubleshooting. These visits require time, professional expertise, and scheduling resources.

If a technician is dispatched to evaluate a repair and the customer chooses not to proceed with the recommended work, a $75 diagnostic or estimate fee will apply.

This fee helps cover the cost of travel, time spent diagnosing the issue, and the preparation of a professional repair recommendation. The diagnostic or estimate fee is typically waived when Rayden’s Repairs is hired to complete the recommended work during the same visit or scheduled follow-up service.

Trip charges or diagnostic fees may still apply if the issue cannot be completed during the visit due to customer decisions, unavailable materials, scheduling limitations, or circumstances outside of our control.

Warranty Limitations: Repairs vs. Replacement

Repairs are intended to address the specific issue identified at the time of service. Repairs do not guarantee that other components within the same system will not fail in the future.

Whenever possible, replacement of failing components may be recommended as a more reliable long-term solution. Rayden’s Repairs is not responsible for subsequent failures of aging, worn, or compromised components when a repair was requested instead of full replacement.

Manufacturer warranties for materials or products are the responsibility of the manufacturer and not Rayden’s Repairs unless otherwise stated in writing.

Photo Documentation Permission

In order to properly document project conditions, service progress, and completed work, technicians may take photographs of the work area before, during, and after service. These photos are used for internal documentation, quality control, communication with customers, and project records.

Photos will focus on the work area and repair conditions and will not intentionally include personal or identifying information unrelated to the work performed.

Communication

Customers agree to provide accurate and complete contact information including:

• Phone number
• Email address
• Physical address of the work location
• Billing address if different from the service address

Customers also agree to respond to communication from Rayden’s Repairs within a reasonable amount of time, generally considered to be within two (2) days when communication is necessary to continue or complete the scope of work.

Rayden’s Repairs is not responsible for delays, scheduling disruptions, or incomplete work resulting from a lack of timely communication. It is also not our responsibility to further the scope of work without consistent communication from the customer.

Arbitration

In the event of a dispute related to services provided by Rayden’s Repairs – The Home Maintenance Co., both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication in good faith.

If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be submitted to arbitration between the parties. All arbitration proceedings shall take place within Cleveland County, Norman, Oklahoma, and shall be governed by all applicable laws and regulations of the State of Oklahoma.

Agreement

By accepting an estimate, scheduling an appointment, allowing work to begin, or otherwise engaging the services of Rayden’s Repairs – The Home Maintenance Co., the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Service Agreement, with prejudice.
